Primordia, the newest game from Wadjet Eye Games, is out now for PC. Wadjet Eye Games is the company that developed the Blackwell series and published games like Resonance, which released earlier this year, so the game has a strong team behind it.
Like Resonance, Primordia is an adventure game with retro-styled graphics and a strong plot. In this game, you play a robot living in a dystopian future in which human beings have disappeared. Horatio is happy to live a life spent studying the Book of Man and tinkering with the airship in which he lives with his droid companion Crispin, until one day a rogue robot steals his power core and the pair must set off to retrieve it.
If that sounds like just your kind of game, Primordia is available to download from PrimordiaGame.com, GOG.com, or Steam, for $9.99. Or, if it sounds like the kind of game for which you'll want a physical copy, you've got a few days left to get yourself one of the limited edition DVDs for $19.99. Fans of Bastion might be particularly interested in the latter, since it includes a behind-the-scenes voice over video, and one of the voice artists in the game is Logan Cunningham, of Bastion fame.
