Kazunori Yamuachi, president of Polyphony Digital and the creator of Gran Turismo, took to the PlayStation Blog to announce some very exciting news for fans of the series.
The next entry in the long-running franchise, Gran Turismo Sport, has officially received its release date which is October 17. The game will bring a bunch of new modes to the latest installment including a campaign mode, various creative tools, and the implementation of PSVR.

We’re as keen as all of you to get the game into players’ hands, and can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks of the game when it launches in October.
