With the Video Game Awards (VGAs) set to air this coming Friday, publishers are slowly releasing the teasers for their upcoming trailers. Right now, Epic Games is on bat for Gears of War Judgment's VGA teaser.
As expected, there's not a lot to see here. All we get is an unnamed woman standing in front of a burning city, while someone over on the radio states that they "know exactly what we're up against."
Again, this is just a teaser for the actual trailer that's set to air during the VGAs.
For those not keeping up with Gears of War news after Gears of War 3, Judgment will be developed by Bulletstorm studio People Can Fly and will be the first game in the series that won't have Marcus Fenix or Dom as the lead characters. Instead, "Kilo Squad" members Damon Baird and Augustus "Cole Train" Cole will be taking over the lead roles in this prequel.
Not interested in Gears of War Judgment? Fortunately for you that the VGAs will have a lot more to show than just Epic's Game. Confirmed for attendance are a new trailer for The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite, the first-ever gameplay reveal of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and a few other surprise reveals.
The VGAs will air live on Spike TV but for those who are not from the U.S. or prefer to watch on their PCs, mobile devices, GameTrailers will live-stream the event once it starts on December 7, 9 p.m. ET.
Which game are you most excited to see at the VGAs and what sort of surprises are you expecting from it? Personally, I'm curious to see what this "first look at next-gen" will be about. Will this be our first-ever look at next-gen consoles or just a tech demo for Unreal Engine 4?
