Call of Duty: Black Ops II has managed to remain at the top of the UK charts, according to UKIE. Despite its sales dropping by 35% this week, Black Ops II is now in its third week at number one, even beating new entry Far Cry 3. Ubisoft's new title is still a success, however, taking the title of ninth biggest launch of the year, just behind Hitman Absolution, which has slipped back to fourth place this week with a 51% drop in sales. Fifa 13, naturally, is still going strong, holding on in third position, and Assassin's Creed III rounds off the top five in fifth.
Interestingly, none of the new Wii U exclusives have made it into the top ten, though the console did only launch in the UK on Friday (November 30th). Nintendo Land, which will have been sold with every Premium Wii U, just misses the top ten at number eleven. New Super Mario Bros. U comes in at number fourteen, and Zombi U also makes the top twenty at number seventeen. There are more titles that have a Wii U version but aren't exclusive to the console in the top ten, including Fifa 13, which – UKIE tells us – is the first game since FIFA International Soccer (1993/1994) to make it onto nine different formats.
