Not much is know about Destiny, the brand new IP that Bungie has in the works, other than what was leaked recently. But even with all that, it's a safe bet that much energy and time has been invested thus far. But how much, of the latter, to be exact?
One clue comes from, of all places, ODST. Which was Bungie's next to last Halo game, and hails from 2009. Kotaku got the tip from a reader of theirs, who also presents the screenshot from the game, seen above, as evidence.
Not long after, Vic DeLeon, a level artist for Bungie, confirmed the clue as being legit:
IT'S FINALLY BEEN FOUND! @rhyd1z3l_:u used to work at bungie..why is 'Destiny' in Halo 3 ODST? you sly foxes you twitter.com/Rhyd1z3L_/stat…

So, the question now remains: which installment of Halo are you replaying tonight, in hopes of finding more clues? I'm starting with 3 myself.
