Sony has now announced that the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta is now open for registration. Keep in mind, though, that signing up won't guaranteee you'll get in, but that you'll be in "with a chance of being a selected participant."
For those interested, you can go to the God of War: Ascension beta sign-up page and you'll have until 12 p.m. on Friday, December 7 to register. Seeing as this was announced on Sony's EU PlayStation Blog, we can't be certain if this applies to users in other territories, but just in case, you can sign up for the beta and once chosen, just create an EU account to play it.
If you're one of the lucky few, expect a notification via email when the God of War: Ascension beta officially starts. Once notified, you'll then be able to access the beta and retrieve your voucher here.
This is the first-ever foray of the franchise into the multiplayer realm and if you want to know more details surrounding it, head on over to our multiplayer info blowout.
Let us know if you get in, alright?
So, anyone excited to take the franchise's first stab at multiplayer a go or should Sony not muddle up the series with multiplayer at all?
God of War: Ascension is set to hit on March 12, 2013 exclusively for the PS3.
