Itching to get blasting? Here’s the date to diarise to preload Bungie’s upcoming MMO shooter, Destiny 2.
PS4 players will be able to preload Destiny 2 on September 3rd. The Xbox One and PC preload dates have yet to be revealed, however, some fans have stated that they’ve received emails from Microsoft with the date being September 5, 2017.
The file size is 64 GB, so the early pre-load date will give players with a slower connection more than enough time to have the game fully downloaded.
In other Destiny 2 news, Bungie has responded as to why there will be no new classes in Destiny 2.
In an Interview with Metro, executive producer David Allen was asked why the development team didn’t implement new classes in the MMO shooter. His response was that the already existing classes are rich enough.
“When we think about the game we look at where do we feel like we have an area to grow?” Allen said. “We feel like the Titan, Hunter, and Warlock… there’s still new ways to play those classes that we can explore. And when you look at the community that exists around the game, up to this point, and you see the attachment that they have to those. You see pictures of people on the Internet who have the logos tattooed on their bodies and you think, ‘This is something that people really have a deep connection to’.”
