When Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto 5's second trailer earlier this month, people weren't just content in seeing new footage. We had one where it was re-made using Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and one where its background music and sound effects were replaced by real world sounds. Heck, we even made a post detailing all the secrets and details people might have missed. In short, Grand Theft Auto 5 is a very big deal, and people will do a ton of things while we wait for new info.
In this video created by YouTube user 169xxx169xxx, he recreates Grand Theft Auto 5's second trailer in real life. No, he didn't shoot each scene individually, instead, he used footage in movies, TV shows and even those "cop pursuit" programs to get the desired effect. While it's not an accurate frame-by-frame representation of the second trailer, it's still impressive nonetheless.
Give it a watch now.
Not bad, no? I particularly liked where he injected Rowan Atkinson a.k.a. Mr. Bean into it and the Men in Black 3 scene where he dubbed the dialogue isn't bad, either.
Hopefully, Rockstar releases more info or a new trailer soon so we don't have to rely on fan-made trailers just to get our Grand Theft Auto 5 fix. Then again, I'm not really complaining.
For those hard-up on GTA 5 news, you might want to check out our Grand Theft Auto 5 Game Informer info blowout, if you've already read that, we've also taken a look at the screens released by Rockstar where it implies that not only might GTA 5 feature vehicluar destruction, but there might be a way to surf in-game, too!
Grand Theft Auto 5 is scheduled for a Spring 2013 release for the PS3 and Xbox 360, while PC gamers are now petitioning to Rockstar to have their own version.
Have you seen other fan-made "creations" when it comes to Grand Theft Auto 5's trailers? If so, share the best ones in the comments and who knows? We might even feature it, too.
