Nintendo announced at E3 2017 that the Switch would be receiving a core RPG Pokemon title for the Switch.
With a lot of excitement ensuing after the announcement, many fans were wondering how Game Freak would handle the Pokemon Switch title. Will they change up the formula? Will it be a massive open world like Breath of the Wild?
Little details have been revealed, but thanks to a recent interview between Reggie Fils-Aime and Bloomberg we have some basic knowledge of what the developers and Nintendo are planning for the game.
According to Reggie, the Switch Pokemon title will be a “traditional find, battle, train type experience.” Yuji Nakamura, tech reporter at Bloomberg also managed to get some info about the other highly anticipated Switch title, Metroid Prime 4.
Metroid Prime 4 will indeed be “a first-person adventure”. Check out the tweet down below:

Both these games, Pokemon for Switch and Metroid Prime 4, are big system sellers for the console. Fans have been genuinely happy with Nintendo’s E3 2017 spotlight. That’s not even mentioning the new Kirby, Yoshi, and 2D Metroid game announcements.
What do you want from Pokemon for the Switch? Would you like them to change up their formula or would you rather stick with the basics?
Pokemon for the Switch is slated to release sometime in 2018.
