Angry Birds is, without question, a phenomena. What was once just a simple iOS game has now taken multiple forms. From children's toys to Halloween costumes, from after lunchtime snack to soft drinks, from amusement parks to credit cards.
Naturally, the world of fine art is the next target. And according to The Verge, you can thank artist Evan Roth for making it happen. Though what he's concocted is a bit different from what one might expect.
Instead of depicting the characters or environments in the games in whatever fashion, Roth decided to highlight the gestures required to complete each level of the game, by placing tracing paper over his iPhone's screen and applying black ink to his fingers when playing.
The end result is something that is intended to "contrast the excitement that happens in the gaming environment with the monotony that actually takes places in the physical world."
Angry Birds All Levels is on display at Dublin's Science Gallery, and encompasses 300 sheets of paper. For those who can't be there in person to admire Roth's handiwork, he has also put them together in the form of video:
