Crackdown 3 Can Be Finished in 2.5hrs; Story Takes 12 – 16hrs

June 15, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

Finish it straight away, or take your time.

Wondering how long it will take you to finish Reagent game’s upcoming Crackdown 3? Campaign developer Sumo Digital spoke to PC Games N rectifying some story-related questions.

Turns out that because the final boss is available to fight right at the start of the game, players can actually finish the title in around 3hrs. This is due to the non-linear open world environment of this title.

As with previous Crackdown games, the whole island of New Providence can be explored and exploded in any order you choose… meaning you’re able to race to the end in double-quick time, should you wish.

Sumo Digital said that, “That’s what we’re doing internally, and we can guarantee that’s what other people will do as well.” And while the main story can be finished in 12 to 16 hours, the developer said that QA testers managed to complete it in 2.5 hours without snagging the collectables.

“That’s what we’re doing internally,” Sumo Digital say, “and we can guarantee that’s what other people will do as well.”

In other Crackdown 3 news, players will be happy to note that the devs won’t be including pesky Zombies in this next instalment.

Johnson also hinted that glide suits may be added to the game sometime after launch.

“I wouldn’t say no; we’re always open to adding new things. I think it’s probably one of the things that will be added later if we do end up doing it,” he said.
