Since it released in 2015, Tobyfox’s unusual RPG Undertale went on to achieve great success by breaking the rules. Befriending bosses, fusing bullet-hell mechanics in a genre typically limited to turn-based attacks, Undertale redefined what an ‘RPG’ could be and gained a cult following. Undertale stars an ordinary human who falls down into an underground world that’s full of monsters, but thanks to the game’s quirky battle system, killing is optional—besides, why kill when you can negotiate with your enemies? During the Sony E3 presentation, it was revealed that Undertale (which is currently at home on PC, Mac and Linux) is coming to both PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4.
Undertale is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita later this year. Pre-0rders for the game are currently available for players in United States, and while you’re there, you also score a 24 page illustrated booklet. A specific date hasn’t been revealed just yet, so make sure to stay tuned to Gameranx for updates. Interested players can check out Undertale on Steam, GOG or via the Humble Store.
