Far Cry 5 has got everyone talking ever since its reveal last month, but today during Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference, the developers took to the stage to showcase some actual gameplay.
Like expected, the game looks amazing; and for the first time since its unveiling, we have received official gameplay from the highly anticipated title. We see resistance members, boomer – our companion attack dog – and plenty more.
Watch the new gameplay trailer down below:
Gamers will play as a junior deputy police officer in the Hope County, Montana district. You will come across the cult that has been teased over the past couple of weeks, which will be called Project at Eden’s Gate. Their goal is to stage a coup as “The Father”, Joseph Seed – the main antagonist- believes that “The Collapse” is near.
Players will have to join forces with the residents to create a resistance and shut down “The Father” and his cult from overrunning the County. Gamers will be quite familiar with the title as Ubisoft is keeping core gameplay mechanics the same – drive ATVs, trucks, and cars; pick up a various amount of weapons; and even fly airplanes.
Far Cry 5 releases on February 27 next year for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
