A Target employee has taken to Reddit to reveal that a Gold PS4 might be released as early as next week.
The image, which you can see down below, is a Gold Slim PS4. This model seems to have a 1TB drive, allowing gamers to really stack up on some big game downloads. The reported Gold Slim PS4 is said to release next week, June 9.

Some of you may know already, or maybe not. But I work at target and it looks like the PS4 gold is coming June 9th. Shows up on our equipment.
“This Walmart put them out early,” Reddit user Christopher_Maxim said. “Register locked up when I tried to buy one and the staff realized their mistake. I snagged a pic before they brought them out back.”
The unannounced Gold PS4 seems that it will be going for $249, a fair price for a variant PS4 color with a 1TB storage drive. However, it is unclear if this Gold variant is only for the Slim edition, as many Reddit users were hoping to see a Gold PS4 Pro.
