According to the Hitman tumblr, the CONTRACTS mode for the game will be freely accessible to everyone. The CONTRACTS mode as they call it, is where you will get to creature your own customized hits and challenge your friends to beat them.
The mode was originally going to be accessible via a code in the game’s box, but they “really want to make it available to anybody that players the game”. If you’re in U.S. you’ll see the mode automatically appear in the game menu. Anyone anywhere else has to still redeem the code inside the box or select the BUY CONTRACTS PASS option. Then once you reach the store, the actual pass should be free.
Hitman: Absolution will be released worldwide on November 20th. So far the game has received good reviews overall.
