Sleeping Dogs Getting Agent 47, Deus Ex, Just Cause Themed DLC

November 13, 2012 by Alex Co

Want to be Agent 47 in Sleeping Dogs? Square Enx has you covered.

Square Enix has announced that all of Sleeping Dogs' pre-order bonuses are now available to everyone — for a price, of course. However, that's not the big news. In addition to that announcement, Square Enix is also adding a "Square Enix Character Pack" that will let players use character skins from its other franchises in Sleeping Dogs.

The game's protagonist, Wei Shen, will be able to don a bald wig and suit up just like Agent 47 from the Hitman franchise, or wear Adam Jensen's augmented armor in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, or be Rico Rodriguez from the Just Cause series. Each of these costumes will include its own buff to Shen's stats, as well as their own signature weapon.

  • Square Enix Character Pack: Become a silent assassin, augmented warrior or king of chaos! Wei Shen dons new disguises in this pack, with three new outfits and three new weapons from Square Enix's Hitman, Just Cause and Deus Ex games. Each outfit includes its own buff and signature weapon – 160 MSP

  • The Triad Enforcer Pack: It’s a high-speed shoot out in 'Triad Highway.’ Armed with a high capacity machine gun, fight a tide of Triads after your head. ‘Death by 1,000 Cuts’ puts you in a brutal fight club taking on the Triads with a razor sharp golden cleaver. Wear the Triad Enforcer outfit for added Face and more punishing damage – 240 MSP

  • The GSP Pack: Dress like Mixed Martial Arts champion Georges “Rush” St-Pierre with this collection of shorts, t-shirts and bandana, and devastate your enemies with GSP’s signature flying punch. Also adds increased grappling and throwing damage – 240 MSP

  • The Deep Undercover Pack: All the perks of being undercover with the Deep Undercover Pack. Unlocks the Plain Clothes Detective outfit (with a reduced heat penalty), the Undercover Police Ghost Car and a CB Radio for your safehouse – 240 MSP

  • The Martial Arts Pack: Unleash the power of the Shaolin with the Martial Arts Pack. Unlocks the Shaolin Warrior outfit (with increased melee damage), the Shaolin Showdown mission and Wing Chun dummy decoration for your safehouse – 240 MSP

  • The Police Protection Pack: Catch criminals like a true SWAT officer with the Police Protection Pack. Unlocks exclusive High Speed police mission, SWAT outfit, SWAT police cruiser car and SWAT assault rifle – 240 MSP

  • The Dragon Master Pack: The Dragon Master Pack gives you the five preorder packs in one, for a discount price. The Police Protection Pack, the Martial Arts Pack, the Deep Undercover Pack the GSP Pack, and the Triad Enforcer Pack are included. Each individual pack is also available separately – 640 MSP

Just to whet your appetite, here's what Wei Shen looks like as Adam Jensen:

All the DLCs mentioned above can now be downloaded over on Xbox LIVE or on the PSN once their stores have updated.

Are you buying any of the costume packs or will it be single-player DLC for you? I must admit, having characters from other games really is a neat idea…even if they're just skins and not the characters themselves, no?

Thanks, Xbox360Achievements
