John Cygan, the voice actor who had some pretty big roles in games like Metal Gear Solid 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Republic, and more have passed away at age 63.
Cygan was most known for his role in Metal Gear Solid 2 as Solidus Snake, the main antagonist in the title. The news comes from long-time friend and actor Michael Chiklis on Twitter this past weekend.

The passing of Cygan is extremely sad as he as been a prominent figure in both games media and the acting scene. Chicklis and Cygan became friends when they worked together back in the 90s on the TV show The Commish.
There are loads of movies you can hear Cygan’s voice in – Cars, WALL-E, Up, Toy Story 3 , Monsters University ; as well as in games such as Star Wars, Halo, Medal of Honor, and Lord of the Rings.
He leaves behind his wife Cathy and two children – Annie and Jack.
