Streum On Studio is updating Space Hulk: Deathwing in a huge way, introducing exciting new content for PC players in addition to a full-fledged console release. Starting from today, the PC version of the game has received a patch that looks at addressing gameplay variety.
To achieve this, a Special Missions mode has been added to multiplayer, which is currently only available for Chapter 1 but is headed for subsequent chapters in due course. As a whole, the enhanced edition is offering new enemies, weapons and skills, and a full multiplayer progression system complete with class and loot customisation.
Space Hulk: Deathwing Enhanced Edition is due for release in Q4 of 2017 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. PC players will receive the update for free. Gameranx previously reviewed Space Hulk: Deathwing and we thought it was conceptually strong with brilliant lore, but fell short of being consistently engaging.
Space Hulk: Deathwing is currently available on Steam (PC) for $39.99 USD.
