Unity Technologies has announced the winners of the second Vision Summit, which were selected from a pool of over 250 submissions and entries. There were nine categories in total, including Best Game and Best VR experience. Media studio Scatter took out two awards with cyber warfare documentary Zero Days VR, and fighting title Superhot VR (which released for Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch last year) claimed the prize for Best Game. - Best Game – Superhot VR (SUPERHOT Team)
- Best Cinematic VR – Zero Days VR (Scatter)
- Best 360 Video – MIYUBI (Felix & Paul Studios, in collaboration with Funny or Die)
- Artistic Achievement Award – Chocolate (Tyler Hurd)
- Technical Achievement Award – Ghostbusters: Dimension (The Void and Hyper Reality)
- Narrative Achievement Award – Zero Days VR (Scatter)
- Best AR Experience – ProtoSpace (NASA)
- Best VR Experience – ASTEROIDS! (Baobab Studios)
- Social Impact Award – Out of Exile: Daniel’s Story (Emblematic Group, Atrevida Productions, True Colors Fund)
Unity Technologies’ Vision Summit recently took place in Los Angeles. It hosted more than 1,200 attendees comprised of programmers, artists, business leaders and publishers, who united under a desire to push the limits of virtual and augmented realities further.
