Today THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games announced that Darksiders 3 is in development and set to release sometime in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Darksiders 3 will introduce a new protagonist named Fury. The game is said to be an open-world action-adventure title. In addition to the announcement, both Gunfire Games and THQ Nordic released a CG trailer.

The game will be a tie-in title to other Darksiders games; in fact, the game is set the same time as the events Darksiders 2 unfold. Fury’s main goal is to destroy the physical versions of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Lars Wingefors, Co-Founder and Group CEO at THQ Nordic AB said via IGN, “After countless rumors, a major catalogue acquisition, and even a corporate re-brand, the team at THQ Nordic is thrilled to finally confirm plans for Darksiders III.”
Darksiders 3 is set to release in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
