After teasing about the game last month, Bandai Namco finally released the first official gameplay trailer for Code Vein.
Code Vein is an upcoming third persona action-adventure title that seems to take inspiration from Dark Souls. The gameplay as you can see down below, resembles the combat style in Dark Souls; in addition to the monstrosities as enemies.
However, Code Vein does look to have its own identity. The game has this very anime feel to it, plus there is a companion style gameplay element.

In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment.
At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity.
Code Vein is still ways off as the game is set to release sometime in 2018.
