Have an Amex Card? Get Paid to Play Halo 4

November 2, 2012 by Jeanine Celestin-Greer

Now this is a promotion

American Express and Microsoft have partnered together to make sure you have a legitimate reason for staying inside all weekend and finishing Halo 4. If you are an eligible American Express card holder, you can get up to $25 bucks for completing the game. That nearly cuts the games cost in half.

So what's the catch? You just need to tie your account to Xbox Live to start reaping the rewards, and be in the United States or U.K. Just by doing that you'll start to receive coupons from places like PacSun and AMC Theatres. Oh and you'll receive an automatic credit of $10 as well.

And then of course, you get an additional $25 (or £25 credit in Europe) to your statement credit just for finishing the game on Normal or harder. But wait, there's more (couldn't resist): if you are one of the first 25 people in the US or one of the first 5 in the UK to finish Halo 4 on Legendary difficulty, you'll be entered to win a trip to E3 2013. Now that's incentive to play video games.

If you want to check out all the rules and details, go to Amex Sync and check it out.  I'm hoping we'll see more gaming related promotions like this one in the future.
