Have you heard of Sons of Anarchy? Drama about bikers that runs on FX in the US? Well creator Kurt Sutter has been trying to make a game based off his show for a while now according to GamesIndustry, stating in May that everyone at the FX network and Fox were "committed to making this happen." In August he said he was getting "no traction" on the project, that it wasn't a priority for FX and that a big publisher that had been in talks on the title had blown him off.
Now he’s taken to Twitter, asking Rockstar Games to make the game.
It's unknown if Rockstar was willing to talk or not, but it seems that Sutter is desperate to make a good game.
"[Games have a] huge upfront cost," he acknowledged. "Games are in decline," he said back in August. "It's very risky. As a gamer, it's my responsibility to deliver a great game. Not some 1/2 promotional piece of sh*t like [Game of Thrones]. To do that means time/$$$."
It's possible, I suppose, but I can't really see Rockstar wanting to get involved when so many of their own original IPs make so much money. Would you want to see a game like this from Rockstar?
