PlayStation has announced that the upcoming PSVR title from developer Impulse Gear – Farpoint – has gone gold.
In addition, they have also released a new story trailer for the game. The story description and trailer are down below, check them out:
On a mission to pick up scientists studying an anomaly near Jupiter, a sudden rupture nearby sends you and their station crashing onto an unknown alien world. Separated from your colleagues, you must use holographic logs scattered throughout the landscape to reunite with the scientists and escape the planet.
The game and new Aim Controller will be released next month. The PlayStation VR Aim Controller, for those who haven’t heard of the device so far, is expected to offer “the most realistic and precise way to control” Farpoint. It’s got 1:1 tracking, so to aim, players will point just as you would in real-life.
Farpoint is set to release for PSVR on May 16 for $49.99, or $79.99 if you decide to go with the Aim Controller bundle.
