We already know Ubisoft is working on a big-screen adaptation of Assassin's Creed 3, but that hasn't stopped fans from creating one of their own — and what's more, it looks fantastic.
I do admit, the acting is a bit hammy, but given their limited budget and all, this is way better than most of the official big-budget game adaptations. What I find most impressive was the way Connor's acrobatics and fight choreography was done. Although the settings and sound work isn't bad, either.
These fan-made mini movies do make me wonder though. Are they good or are we looking at them through rose-tinted glasses since we know they're not backed by millions of bucks and a mega movie outfit? If given the chance, do you think the people who made this can make an Assassin's Creed movie work?
While we won't know the answer to that, let's hope whatever Ubisoft has cooking in the oven for Assassin's Creed's movie debut is — at the very least — entertaining.
Assassin's Creed 3 is set for an October 30 release for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
