Battlefield 3 Premium Content for October Detailed, Air Kills Competition Announced

October 23, 2012 by Alex Co

DICE has outlined what Battlefield 3 Premium members can expect for October.

DICE has announced what's in store for Battlefield 3 Premium members for the rest of October. Granted that October is almost over, but it's better than not announcing anything at all, right?

First up, another competition will commence on October 27. However, if you have a fear of flying, you might not want to be a part of it.

Here's the official word from DICE regarding the "Air Kills Competition:"

Starting October 27th, the five players per platform who can rack up the most amount of kills from air based vehicles (i.e. jets and helicopters) in Armored Kill will be crowned the winners! 15 total winners will each receive a signed and numbered limited edition lithograph featuring artwork from Battlefield 3. This lithograph will only ever be printed in a run of 100 total units.

The way you join and take part in this competition is unchanged from last month. If you are a Premium member, you will be able to join our Premium specific servers via a password that you receive after having accepted the terms and conditions. We will supply terms and conditions and password closer to the start time of the competition.

For the exact times, you can check here.

Next up, there's another Double XP event and it starts from Halloween all the way to All Saint's Day. That's 96 hours of Double XP for Battlefield 3 Premium members who play on Ranked servers. Just click this link to know what time the event starts in your area of the world.

Finally, Battlefield 3 Premium members will be getting an exclusive new look at the upcoming Aftermath expansion. This new video will be unveiled exclusively for Premium members on October 30 and will include shots of the all-new crossbow weapon in action.

Anyone up for more Battlefield 3 events or will you be busy playing some of this year's big games then?
