The water festival which has enabled players in the more ‘deserty’ regions of Pokemon GO to snag water Pokemon, will be coming to a close at 4PM EST, today. The festival also gave players the chance to grab a Magikarp Hat accessory as well as for the first time a beautiful shiny Magikarp.
The Water Festival was a bit unexpected, being the first Pokemon GO event not tied to a real-world holiday, but it’s been more than welcome by fans. Hopefully, in the future, Niantic will bring more of these events to fans (along with more shiny Pokemon).
