On the MMO front, RIFT is gearing up for its first expansion with a closed beta. Entering into its second weekend called "From Seratos with Love", the next beta will begin on Friday October 19th at 1:00 PM EDT and end on Wednesday October 24th at 11:00 am. This time it will include the zones of City Core, Eastern Holdings, and Seratos. Two new features will also be up for testing, those being Dimensions and Hunt Rifts.

RIFT will also be doing another Extra Life event this weekend. Extra Life is a large gaming charity event. Both Trion staff members and players join up to game for 24 hours straight for charity. All you have to do is sign up and join Trion's team or donate. This year the event will begin on October 20th, 2012. Players who participate will get a unique title. Last year, it was "the Charitable", but this year Trion has only said that those who play a full 24 hours over the course of the weekend can look forward to unique titles.
