If you’ve yet to play BioShock 2 and wish to pick up a digital copy of the game right now, you may be entirely out of luck as the game’s publisher 2K Games has temporarily pulled it from storefronts on Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Games, Amazon, and Apple’s App Store.
Digital versions of the game and its premium expansion, Minerva’s Den, were yanked from the storefronts late last week. The game was originally released in 2010.
If you already own the game on one or more of these digital services, you’ll still have access to play the game and will have nothing to worry about.
2K Games has released a statement saying that the game will return to these digital stores soon. Here’s what they wrote:
"BioShock 2 has been temporarily removed from the Steam, Xbox Live, and PlayStation Network marketplaces and will return to these digital stores soon. We'll let you know when that happens. In the meantime, this in no way affects the single-player or multiplayer experience for those who currently own BioShock 2."
