Toto Sah Shrine – Toto Sah Apparatus

Found in a secret cave across the stream off the Hickaly Woods. Throw a bomb into the running water and detonate near the cracked rock wall. That’s the only way to get inside.

This is a weird one. Interact with the devices and you’ll be able to rotate parts of the geometry using motion controls. Tilt the Switch or WiiU Screen to alter the platform ahead, turning it so it forms a bridge.

  • Optional Chest: At the first device, turn the platform all the way around to locate a hidden chest.

The second apparatus gives you control of the stairs — with one set of steps on a track. Adjust the stairs so the middle steps slide to the center of the track before completely aligning the stairs into a bridge. It doesn’t need to be perfect, as long as the steps are over the end-point, you’re good to go.

The third puzzle is the most complex geometric platform yet.

  • Non-Optional Chest: Yes, there’s another chest here. Hold the WiiU Screen / Switch with one hand to motion-control the platform around. It’s almost impossible to do with two hands. Keep turning until the treasure is facing right-side up.

Once you’ve opened the chest and collected the small key, return to the device. Tilt the platform so the stairs are facing up, and continue to tilt so the stairs slide down the track. Check out the gallery above for more details on the exact configuration. Once the third platform is properly aligned, you’ll be able to reach the altar.
