Ta’loh Naeg Shrine – Ta’loh Naeg’s Teaching
Found north of the Kakariko Village. Follow the upper path up the hill to locate this shrine. You’ll spot it while moving up to the Great Fairy Fountain. Very easy to spot.
This isn’t a puzzle-oriented shrine. Instead, you’ll face off against a weak Guardian. To defeat the robot, wait for a vertical strike and side-dodge — you can side-dodge while locked-on [LZ] and jump [X] to get a perfect dodge, then press [Y] to unleash a flurry of attacks.
Before approaching the Guardian, collect a shield and sword from the pair of treasure chest. This is a training Guardian, so you’ll need to complete each step before you can continue.
- Side-Dodge: Left/Right [Left Thumbstick] – [LZ]+[X]
- Backflip: Down [Left Thumbstick] – [LZ]+[X]
- Perfect Guard: [LZ]+[A] (Parry right as an attack lands.)
- Charge Attacks: Hold [Y]
Complete all four combat maneuvers to open the gate into the altar. Don’t miss the chest up the stairs before the altar!
