Final Fantasy 15: All Classic FF OST Locations | “Memories Of” Guide

Improve those lengthy car rides in Final Fantasy 15 with these classic radio soundtracks you can unlock for a pretty cheap in-game price. All fifteen main titles are represented, with each album bringing a handful of the most memorable tracks for nostalgic fans, reaching all the way back to the original Final Fantasy. Some of these albums are unlocked right when you start the game, but others have to be purchased with in-game currency.

To complete the collection, check out the easy locations below. Once you unlock the western section of the map in Chapter 3, you’ll be able to reach all the soundtrack vendors. If you’re looking for a specific OST from your favorite entry in the franchise, press [CTRL+F] and type in the name of the game you want.

All Classic FF OST Locations | “Memories Of” Guide

All optional Final Fantasy soundtracks can be purchased from vendors in-game for 100 Gil. Buying a “Memories of” album unlocks a selection of music from previous Final Fantasy games. All the main series titles are here, and you’ll even find two bonus OSTs.

NOTE: The NES originals like Final Fantasy 1, 2, and 3 all feature remake soundtracks instead of music as it originally appeared. 

OSTs can be listened to on the car radio, or you can purchase an upgrade allowing Noctis and his crew to listen to music all the time.

• Final Fantasy 1 Soundtrack
  • Location: Automatically unlocked — available once driving the Regalia is unlocked.

• Final Fantasy 2 Soundtrack
  • Location: Leide Map – Purchased at the Longwythe Rest Area vendor.

• Final Fantasy 3 Soundtrack
  • Location: Duscae Map – Purchased at the Coernix Station vendor.

• Final Fantasy 4 Soundtrack
  • Location: Leide Map – Purchased at the Hammerhead Outpost vendor.

• Final Fantasy 5 Soundtrack
  • Location: Leide Map – Purchased at the Galdin Quay vendor.

• Final Fantasy 6 Soundtrack
  • Location: Duscae Map – Purchased at the Taelpar Rest Area vendor.

• Final Fantasy 7 Soundtrack
  • Location: Automatically unlocked — available once driving the Regalia is unlocked.

• Final Fantasy 8 Soundtrack
  • Location: Leide Map – Purchased at the Hammerhead Outpost vendor.

  • Location: Duscae Map – Purchased at the Wiz Chocobo Post vendor.

• Final Fantasy 11 Soundtrack
  • Location: Duscae Map – Disc 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 can be purchased at the Burbost Souvenir Emporium vendor.

• Final Fantasy 12 Soundtrack
  • Location: Duscae Map – Purchased at the Verinas Mart (Ravatogh) vendor.

• Final Fantasy 13 Soundtrack
  • Location: Automatically unlocked — available once driving the Regalia is unlocked.

• Final Fantasy 14 Soundtrack
  • Location: Duscae Map – Disc 1 and Disc 2 can be purchased at the Coernix Station (Lestallum) vendor.

• Final Fantasy Dissidia Soundtrack:
  • Location: Duscae Map – Dissidia and Dissidia Duodecim can be purchased at the Old Lestallum vendor.
    • These two soundtracks cost 500 gil.
• Final Fantasy Type-0
  • Location: Altitia – Purchased at the Potions vendor on the water. Only available after reaching Chapter 9.
