Pokemon GO is here, and several days after its wide release, some players are still experiencing problems. Frequent server outages aren’t the only issues — compatibility isn’t exactly clear. Only certain phones will run Pokemon GO, and even if you can download this massive F2P app on your iPhone or Android device, you still might not be able to play it.
Check and see if your device is supported with the full list of requirements below. This is the official list, provided by Niantic, the developers that created Pokemon GO, and is the best way to see if your smartphone has the hardware required to enjoy this augmented reality app.
