In the A Safehouse in the Hills, GTA Online has introduced multiple things, but for now we focus on the new mission it has added, KnoWay Out. We’ve already explored how to start the series of missions here, so now we move onto the second of five missions. Want to know what happens and how to complete it? Second Mission: Inside Job
A new text will appear, along with a new payphone location. Head to the new “A” mark on the map and answer the phone. On the other side, Avi informs you that because of that last stunt you pulled, KnoWay is hiring thugs to take out taxi competitor, Downtown Cab Co. Now it’s time to go undercover inside KnoWay, and gain the trust of a fellow henchman inside the company.
With given outfit equipped, drive a nearby vehicle to meet the KnoWay contact at the location marked on the map. Once you’ve picked them up, drive them using their vehicle to a Downtown Cab Co depot where they plan to sabotage the establishment. After they’ve exited the car and gone inside, drive into the parking lot nearby and wait. Soon he will come running out the back, stop at a taxi to plant an explosive, and run back to the car.
Drive out of the parking lot, take a second to look at the explosion happening back in the parking lot, then start the drive back to the hideout. You will have a 2-star wanted level thanks to the explosive shenanigans that you will have to lose before continuing to the hideout, but being in an area with lots of twists and turns, losing the cops shouldn’t take too long. Once they’re off your trail, continue on to the given coordinates.
Arriving there, a cutscene will play going inside the hideout. Follow the contact towards the back where they’ll stop and tell you to listen to the instructions given, as they’re gonna go “on break” if anyone asks. Head into the Breakroom next to you to trigger an explanation, followed by the next phase; taking out the KnoWay mercenaries, marked as gray dots on your map. They won’t be hostile immediately so you can choose where you want to start, but as soon as you’ve harmed one of the mercenaries or take too long, they will immediately turn.
Take out all the mercenaries and exit the building where your personal vehicle will be waiting for you. Hop inside, where Avi will message you along with new coordinates, and drive to the Data Center. An enemy will be guarding the way inside but you can quickly take them out and enter into the building.
Inside, more enemies are waiting immediately to shoot at you. Take them out and head down the stairs to eliminate a few more. Once they’re all dead, green dots will appear on the map to indicate hard drives that the player must collect, but not all of them may show up on the map. If that happens, just run around the large hard drive towers looking for an interact indicator and you should be able to find them all, and then exit the building.
Outside, your previous contact along with his buddies are waiting outside to ambush you. Included in those is a weaponized vehicle, so duck for cover and take out enough of them in order to reach your car and take off. There will be enemy obstacles along the way but you are not required to engage with them in order to finish the mission. Take the hard drives to the drop off location and open Avi’s car trunk. You’ll gain some XP and will be able to answer the payphone close by to finish the mission.
