November is now behind us, and that means it’s time to take stock and see what the best games from the month were! So, shall we begin?

#12 – Where Winds Meet

Are you ready to make your own legend and set China on a path toward glory once more? In Where Winds Meet, you’ll play a nameless hero who finds himself becoming part of a journey that will shape the nation. You’ll travel about, fighting off enemies and figuring out who you really are.

The world around you is vast and begging to be explored, and that means you’ll be able to traverse tranquil landscapes, bustling cities, and secret areas that are full of danger!

Do you have what it takes to rise above and strike down those who would lay the kingdoms low?

#11 – Deadpool VR

You likely forgot that this game came out in November, as you probably didn’t have a VR headset to play it on! Deadpool VR is exactly what it sounds like. You’ll get the chance to play as the “Merc With A Mouth,” and take on all kinds of foes as he goes to “save the day,” or save himself, or whatever motivates him in the mission he’s doing.

Voiced by Neil Patrick Harris, you’ll get to see just how “mouthy” Wade Wilson is, and how much carnage he can create, when he’s not being distracted by the voices in his head.

So, grab your guns and katanas and get to work!

#10 – Winter Burrow

If you’re looking for a cozy yet fun game to enjoy, you might want to check out Winter Burrow. In it, you’ll play a mouse who has come home after a journey to the city…only to find that everything is a mess! Your burrow is in shambles, and your aunt is nowhere to be found.

As such, you’ll need to work hard and build up the burrow so it can once again be what it needs to be for you to survive in it.

To get the supplies needed, you’ll have to travel around the wintery area, and you might just meet some of the other denizens of this place as you do so.

#9 – Tavern Keeper

In Tavern Keeper, you’ll become…umm…the keeper of a tavern. Obviously.

You’ll start off slowly, as you’ll simply need to build the tower that you want to serve people in! Then, once things are set up, you’ll be off on your journey to make it the best tavern ever, and tend to all the people who come to partake in your food and drink!

Oh, but don’t think the job will be easy. Random events will occur that will ensure that you stay on your toes and have to adapt on the fly so that everyone, and we mean everyone, is happy!

#8 – Anno 117: Pax Romana

How many of you have dreamed of going back to the “glory days” of the Roman Empire? If you have, you might have wondered how those in command handled the expansion of the empire, and how they handled its people. In Anno 117: Pax Romana, you’ll get the opportunity to find that out for yourself! You’ll become a Roman Governor and take command of one of the empire’s provinces.

Once you do, it’s up to you to shape it into something truly wonderful. You can build a city and landscape that rivals Rome itself, or you can try to defy the empire to make something even grander! The choice is yours…as are the consequences that would follow such an act…

#7 – Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective

There was some big DLC that came out in November, and Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective expanded upon the beloved game by giving you new beings to play as, new areas to explore, and a new collective of enemies to fight.

As the name suggests, your new foes in this dangerous world are the Alloyed Collective. Within the world, they have rusted and are seeking to have their freedom.

Alongside the six new enemies of the DLC, you’ll also get two brand-new Survivors who have unique abilities all their own. Use them wisely and survive the numerous dangers that are to come.

#6 – Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive

Anime games are everywhere nowadays, and with the success of Webstoon, certain manga-style stories are getting big adaptations that soon become video games themselves. One such title that fits that mold is Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive, which takes the hit Webtoon and anime and decides to expand upon it with new story content.

Just like in the main story, you’ll play as Sung Jinwoo, who is trying to become the best hunter in the world and has the power to back it up.

Now, use his powers to defeat incredible monsters, fight alongside other hunters, and save the world! You know, if you can!

#5 – Assetto Corsa Rally

Were you hoping to get a racing game last month that felt real and would let you drive some of the best cars around? Luckily for you, Assetto Corsa Rally was one such title that dropped, and if you haven’t gotten it yet, you’re missing one of the best racing simulators around.

Through the use of Unreal Engine 5, things have never looked more realistic, and the team went deep into how the game plays so that you can experience a true rally car experience that will demand your full focus as you make one intense turn after another. Good luck!

#4 – SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide

Are we really doing this? Well, okay…

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide features you returning to the “pineapple under the sea,” and wielding the powers of either SpongeBob SquarePants or Patrick Star as you attempt to save Bikini Bottom from two true titans of the deep.

Specifically, King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman are going at it, and their clash is tearing everything apart! So, grab your gear and prepare to Krabby Patty your way to victory so that peace can be restored! It won’t be easy, but nothing is ever easy in Bikini Bottom, and that’s why you’re trying to save it!

#3 – Europa Universalis V

They say that history is written by the victors. In the case of Europa Universalis V, it’s decided by the choices you make as you attempt to lead a nation to glory. You’ll take your first steps by deciding which nation you want to lead, and then, you’ll go forth across history, where centuries will pass as you lead your people to innovation, to conquest, to peace, and whatever else you decide along the way.

The team behind the title went deep into the history books to make things as accurate as possible. So, see what the world will look like when you’re done with it!

#2 – Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

While not the game many were expecting in the first year of the Switch 2’s life, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment proves itself worthy by delivering on fun gameplay that’ll have you feeling quite powerful, while also expanding a beloved story that deserves to be told.

This is a canon entry in the Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom world, and as such, you’ll see the true trials that Princess Zelda, King Rauru, and the other Sages went through to try and stop the Demon King Ganondorf.

With natural abilities, Synch Strikes, and Zonai Devices at your command, you’ll have a lot of options on how you want to lay waste to your enemies.

#1 – Kirby Air Ride

Are we cheating by putting two big-name Nintendo titles at the top of this list? No.

The Nintendo Switch 2 had two big releases in November, and Kirby Air Riders is arguably the best of the two, due to the sheer joy and fun you’ll have while playing it. Seriously, look at anyone posting about it online, and you’ll see the fun they’re having as they pick their favorite character from Kirby’s franchise, and then race around at high speeds without a care in the world.

Then, in City Trial, you’ll power yourself up to take on challenges and foes alike! What are you waiting for? Your ride is ready to go!
