In the second part of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC, you get to attend a brand-new school! The Indigo Disk brings players to Blueberry Academy, a school in the middle of Unova’s ocean. In addition to reuniting with Carmine and Kieran from The Teal Mask, you meet the Blueberry Elite Four by joining the League Club. Of course, every club needs a club room.

As part of the League Club, you can use your Blueberry Points (BP) to help other clubs at Blueberry Academy. By helping out your fellow students, you’ll unlock more features for you and your club room. The most valuable thing you’ll unlock is the Item Printer.
How to Get the Item Printer
After completing the “tutorial” for The Indigo Disk, you’ll notice more student requests appearing on your club room PC. To begin your journey with the Item Printer, find a request from the Science Club called “Seeking testers for our Item Printer.” You need 200 BP to complete this request.
A member from the Science Club, Reese, will appear and stay in your club room. You’ll need to talk to her any time you want to use (or upgrade) the Item Printer.
How to Use the Item Printer
After talking to Reese, you’ll receive three prompts. Choose “I want to print something!” to begin using the Item Printer. Then, you’ll be prompted to choose TM Materials to feed into the Item Printer. Each TM Material will contribute a certain percentage towards creating a new item.
You can create one, five, or ten items at once. So using the printer to make ten items will cost 1000% worth of TM Materials. You can either endlessly scroll through your materials pocket or use the X button to automatically add the correct amount of materials. Auto selection will prioritize contributing materials that you have a lot of. For example, if you have 90 Mankey Fur and 12 Dratini Scales, the auto selection will first use the Mankey Fur.
Don’t worry, this feature will ignore Gimmighoul Coins – these materials contribute the least amount of item percentage. Plus, you need 999 coins to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo.
How to Upgrade the Item Printer
Throughout the DLC, you can upgrade the Item Printer to make it more efficient and less costly. The printer can be upgraded three times, with each upgrade changing its appearance to resemble a different type of Poké Ball. Reese will talk to you when an upgrade is ready. Any time after that, if you select “I want to make it better,” when you talk to Reese, she will upgrade your Item Printer.
After contributing BP to Reese, the Item Printer will resemble a regular Pokéball. You need to use the Item Printer 30 times before Reese can perform the first upgrade. This upgrade costs 200 BP and changes the Item Printer’s appearance to a Great Ball. New features include needing less BP and materials to use the printer and adding the chance to trigger the Double Item bonus.
The second upgrade unlocks after using the Item Printer 80 times. This upgrade costs 500 BP. The Item Printer will then resemble an Ultra Ball. This version adds the chance of the Poké Ball Lotto, giving you the chance to get the Apriballs and Master Balls.
The third and final upgrade becomes available after you use the Item Printer 100 times and complete the DLC story. This upgrade costs 1,000 BP and adds the chance of receiving Stellar Tera Shards.
