Monster Hunter Now: Equipment Skills Guide

October 13, 2023 by Maddy Cohen

In total, there are 42 Equipment Skills in Monster Hunter Now. These skills are spread across all weapons and armor pieces.

In addition to a weapon’s Special Skill, all weapons and armor pieces in Monster Hunter Now have Equipment Skills. These skills enhance your combat in some way, either by providing stat buffs or reducing monsters’ effects.

All Equipment Skills start at Level 1 when activated and can go up to Level 5. Each level enhances the skill’s effect. Lock On, Firm Foothold, Recoil Down, and Reload Speed are the only skills that cannot reach Level 5. The higher the level, the more effective the skill will be. Overgrading your equipment will increase the skill level.
