Back in Season 2 Reloaded, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 introduced a unique set of camo challenges that saw players having to complete tasks with each weapon class to get a special camo with a Mastery camo waiting at the end for players that completed every challenge. Ever since then, it seems that this has become a tradition as Season 3 Reloaded had a camo challenge and now Season 4 Reloaded has just introduced one of its own.
Sticking with the theming of the new update, the challenge revolves around the games’ crossover with the popular Prime Video series The Boys. The event is called the Diabolical Camo Challenges, taking after the catchphrase of one of the series leads Billy Butcher. Players that want to get these unique camos will first need to know all of the challenges and how to unlock them. So, allow me to help! This guide will provide a full explanation and breakdown of the Diabolical Camo Challenges Event in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0
Diabolical Weapon Camo Challenges Explained In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0
Just like the previous camo challenges, this new Season 4 Reloaded version of it tasks players with getting certain types of kills across the many different weapon classes. The Diabolical Camo Challenge has a unique challenge for each of the game’s 10 weapon types. Completing a certain challenge must be completed with the designated weapon class and gives the player a brand-new grey camo for the weapon class that corresponds with the challenge. Below are all of the challenges for the Diabolical Camo Challenge:
- Assault Rifles: Get 50 Operator headshots
- Battle Rifles: Get 25 Operator kills from behind
- Marksman Rifles: Get 30 Operator kills while mounted
- Launcher: Get 40 Operator kills
- LMGs: Get 30 Operator kills while using a suppressor
- Melee: Get 30 enemy kills
- Sidearms: Get 50 enemy longshot kills
- Shotguns: Get 30 Operator kills while prone
- SMGs: Get 250 Operator kills
- Sniper Rifles: Get 3 kills without dying 10 times
It is important to note the difference between Operator Kills and Enemy Kills. The former specifically refers to killing players while the latter includes both players and AI combatants, so if you find yourself struggling with the challenges referencing enemy kills, go into DMZ or Warzone to try and get them done. When players complete all 10 challenges, they will earn a red variant of the camo for all weapons as well as a Weapon Charm.
