Utterly Breathtaking: Six Examples of Skyrim’s Beauty

November 14, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

Skyrim is easily one of the best looking games of all time. Here are six examples of how amazing it looks.

Skyrim is an utterly beautiful game. There's been nothing else quite like it—at least not since Fallout 3 came out a few years ago. The expansive setting, beautifully modeled characters, and the gorgeous world are without parallel.

I have personally walked through Skyrim's vast landscape—from the verdant forests and wide open plains to its snowcapped peaks and primeval vaults buried miles beneath the earth, where I have uncovered many secrets and encountered creatures numerous and crucially dangerous. And as much as I have seen, there is almost infinitely more left for me to unearth.

Listed here is a small taste of the sights and sounds of Skyrim, which is now available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. If you haven't yet had the chance to pick up the game, do so immediately.
