Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening Trophy & Achievement Guide

The latest Call of Duty title from Activision and Treyarch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, recently saw the release of the Awakening DLC. Awakening, for those not in the know, is the first of four planned DLC packs coming out in 2016.

Not unlike the timed exclusivity to Microsoft platforms in previous Call of Duty games, the DLC packs for Black Ops 3 have a short period of timed exclusivity across Sony’s PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 3 platforms before they come out on the PC and Xbox One, so you’ll need to switch platforms over to the PS4 if you intend on playing competitively.

As with previous games in the Black Ops line of titles, Black Ops 3 is split between a single-player campaign, a competitive multiplayer mode, and a co-op zombies mode that has its own on-going story, which spans over the course of all three Black Ops titles. Set in the 1940s, players take on the roles of four unsavory characters played by famous Hollywood actors–as is always the case with Call of Duty’s zombies mode.
