#9. Fable Legends
Fable Legends is the next upcoming installment for the Fable series by developers Lionhead Studios. The story of the game takes place hundreds of years before the events of the original Fable trilogy where the world is based around magic and folklore while certain aspects have yet to be established within the world like the Heroes’ Guild. Set to be a free-to-play cooperative action role-playing video game, players can decide to play with friends online or enjoy the game alone with AI.
Within the game, players can choose between two sides, the heroes or the villains. There is a total of four heroes within Fable Legends, all of which come with their unique abilities that sets them off from each other while only one player can be the quest villain. While heroes set out on different quests, the villain player takes more of an RTS approach to the game. They are free to setup how the quest plays out by placing certain traps and commanding a series of creatures such as choosing to swarm a certain hero or position the creatures for an upcoming ambush. Gamers can get a chance to check out Fable Legends before it fully releases when Lionhead Studios launches the public beta during spring of 2016.
