ReCore was first announced at E3 2015 where we saw a protagonist and her sidekick, a robotic animal, traveling across a desert wilderness. Though the video looked enticing, the real reason we’re putting this game on our list is because of the unique collaboration behind ReCore’s development. This particular title is being developed by Comcept, founded by Keiji Inafune, and development team Armature. Comcept resides in Japan while Armature is settled within the United States though the two seem to be working at ease on one single project. According to interviews and reports, Inafune’s development team is responsible for the overall story, characters, and the game philosophy. While Armature is behind the more technical side of production and tweaking how the game plays out, so with this division, both development teams know their boundaries. That’s not to say that neither of two won’t chime in on their ideas for certain subjects, but we’re interested in seeing how well ReCore turns out when it release sometime in the second quarter of 2016.
