Fallout 4: How to Get Unlimited Caps, Weapons, Ammo, and Armor from Any Vendor

November 11, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Bottle caps don’t grow on trees but they’re pretty easy to get if you know how.

There’s a glitch in Fallout 4 that enables you to earn unlimited bottle caps, ammo, armour, weapons, and items from any vendor in the game.

Here’s what you need to do:

Step 1: Buy all rounds of one ammo type from a vendor.

Step 2: Sell one round back.

Step 3: Sell all of the remaining rounds you just purchased.

Step 4: A glitch means one round stays in your inventory, keep selling it.

Step 5: Continue to buy all of the vendor’s rounds.

Step 6: Buy whatever you want from the vendor and accept the trade.

Step 7: Sleep for 24 hours and vendors will have a new cache of bottle caps.

Step 8: Repeat the process as often as you want with any vendor.

You can see the process in action here but Bethesda may patch it out before long so if you want to make the most of it you should probably getting a move on.

Fallout 4 is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you haven’t already, check out our review.
