Alan Wake 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the original 2010 game. Alan Wake 2 was something of a surprise announcement last year since it had been over 11 years since the first game had come out. Will Alan Wake 2 go to Game Pass Day One?
There’s no indication that Alan Wake 2 will release on Xbox Game Pass. Alan Wake Remastered was released in 2021 and so far that game has not been included in Microsoft’s subscription service. Although Remedy Entertainment’s previous game, Control, spent quite some time on Game Pass the situation is different for the Alan Wake games. Epic is the publisher for Alan Wake 2 and the remaster so it would be their decision to release Alan Wake 2 on Game Pass. Since Epic is a competitor to Microsoft in the PC space it’s unlikely that Alan Wake 2 will ever be on the service.
