Save Room is a puzzle game that is based on the Attache Case inventory management from Resident Evil 4. Coming with 40 puzzles, most of the achievements will unlock as you complete the levels, but there are several achievements that you can easily miss since not only are they not required for completing the game but also because they are secret achievements. For players that want to get an easy 100% completion for the game, this guide will tell players all of the secret achievements in Save Room and how to unlock each one of them.
How To Unlock All Secret Achievements In Save Room
There are a total of 12 secret achievements tied to Save Room with two new achievements being added in the game’s update that happened on May 16. A few of them will naturally be unlocked as you make progress in the game as solutions to a few of the puzzles, but also a few that you can completely miss and finish the game without ever unlocking. This guide will start with the secret achievements that you can’t miss by the time you finish the final stage.
- Magic Pockets: Finish a Level with Two or more Free Spaces – This achievement can be first completed in Level 6 when the game introduces the idea of having to reload weapons. To complete a level, not only do you need to get all your weapons and equipment into the Atache case, but also need to have each weapon loaded and have full health. Level 6 gives you enough spaces for both weapons and their ammo, so reloading the weapons will give you a total of four spaces left over, which will get you the achievement.
- First Aid: Use a Health Item – This will be done in Level 11 when the game introduces the idea of getting your Health back to green. Use the First Aid Spray the game provides and you will be able to progress in the game and unlock the achievement.
- Chambers’s Pupil: Performed a herb combination – A reference to fan-favorite character Rebecca Chambers, this achievement is unlocked when you perform your first herb combination, which can be done by combining the two Green Herbs in Level 16.
- Intoxicating Power: Lost Health – Level 21 introduces the Rotten Sardine item, which will cause you to take damage when used. This is necessary since you start the level at full health but need to use a health item.
- Master Stacker: Performed every item combination possible – There are several combinations that you will need to do throughout the game. These include stacking multiples of the same ammo type together, i.e. combining two separate Hg Ammo boxes, creating every Herb Vial combination, of which there are six, and loading every ammo type into their corresponding gun. The only one of these that you might miss is making all of the Herb Vial variants. You can go to Level 40, which gives you all the different colored herbs found in the game. If you need to use a few of these missable combinations, you can load up the final level and reload it until you get all of the combinations.
- It’s Just Basic Chemistry, Yo: Created every type of ammunition – There are three types of Gunpowder that you can combine to create ammo, Green, Blue, and Red. You will need to do each of these combinations by the end of the game, but just in case you need to check which ones you might need to still do, here is each combination and its results. Red + Red: Hg Ammo, Green + Green: Sg Ammo, Blue + Blue: Mp Ammo, Red + Green: Mg Ammo, and Green + Blue: Rf Ammo.
These last 6 achievements are ones that you can easily miss even after completing the game but luckily aren’t too difficult once you know what to do.
- Stranger, now that’s a weapon: Examined one of your weapons – This one is fairly simple and is one of these achievements that you are very unlikely to miss on your way through the game, especially for fans of the Resident Evil games, but it is possible! The achievement is exactly what it says in its description: select one of the weapons and then press the “Examine” button.
- Wait that’s illegal: Tried to use a red or yellow herb – The first level where the red or yellow herb is introduced is Level 17. This is simple, just select either one of these items and attempt to use them and, just like in the Resident Evil games, you will be unable to since they require a Green Herb.
- You’re not ready yet!: Tried to finish a level without reloading your guns – To complete a level, you must have both your health in the green and all of your weapons loaded. Some levels let you nicely organize everything in the Attache Case without doing these, but the game won’t let you progress until you do these. The best place to get the achievement tied to your ammo is in level 6.
- Not enough health, stranger: Tried to finish a level while wounded – The same achievement as before, just for the ammo instead of the health. You can go this on Level 11.
- Can I eat that?: Used every health item – There are a total of 11 health items in the game: Brown Egg, First Aid Spray, Sardine, Green Egg, Rotten Sardine Green Herb, Herbs Vial (Green and Green), Herbs Vial (Green, Green, and Green), Herbs Vial (Green and Yellow), Herbs Vial (Green and Red), Herbs Vial (Green, Yellow, and Red), and Herbs Vial (Red and Yellow). You will encounter and have to use most of these over the course of the game, but the ones that are easy to miss are the double and triple Green Herbs Vials since that isn’t a combination that is ever necessary to complete a level. As stated before, Level 40 gives you many herbs so if you need to use a few of these missable combinations, you can load up the final level and reload it until you get all of the combinations.
- Did you catch the reference?: Examined all items – With everything else laid out and completed, this final achievement tasks you with examining every weapon in the game. Below is a full list of every single item in the game.
