May 6, 2022 by Matt Villei

Happy achievement hunting, Samurai!

The side-scrolling Samurai game Trek to Yomi was released just the other day and with it came its full list of unlockable achievements/trophies. Players that want to know about all of these challenges on their way to 100% completion or Platinum trophy will first need to know what all the achievements are, especially those secret ones. NOTE: THE SECRET ACHIEVEMENTS CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE GAME. This guide will give players the full list of all 28 achievements and trophies for Trek to Yomi.

List Of All 28 Achievement And Trophy For Trek To Yomi

The first 8 achievements that will be listed are the ones that you are guaranteed to get by simply beating the game. If you hit the credits at the end of the game, you will have gotten all the achievements listed below. The story achievements are:

  • Young Blood – Kill the first enemy
  • End of Kindergarten – Complete the first chapter

The next nine achievements are achievements that you must go out of your way to get, though many of them include achievements that you will naturally perform over the course of the game. Tasks such as getting a single upgrade and getting 50 counters will eventually just pop up as you play, but things like getting all of the upgrades and collectibles as well as beating the game on its hardest difficulty will force players to work a little harder than most of these other achievements. The optional achievements are:

  • This Will Come in Handy – Collect the first upgrade
  • Dedicated Collector – Collect all upgrades
  • Leave no Stone Unturned – Find all lore collectibles
  • Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken – Finish the game in Ronin mode
  • Men-Kaeshi-Dou – Perform 50 successful counters
  • Bloodlust – Perform 50 finishers
  • Big Bertha – Kill three enemies at the same time with ozutsu
  • Unstoppable – Finish the game on Kensei mode
  • Malicious Mischief – Kill 10 enemies without using weapons

Finally, the last set of achievements are the hidden achievements, and this is the section where the spoilers come in. These hidden achievements include ones tied to the game’s multiple endings as well as extra difficult challenges like completing levels without using save points or dying and defeating bosses without taking a hit. The hidden achievements are:

  • Follow Your Mind – Finish the game with the path of duty
  • Follow Your Heart – Finish the game with the path of love
  • Follow Your Blade – Finish the game with the path of fury
  • Early End – Kill the third chapter boss
  • I’ll Put This Spear Into… – Kill Sadatame without taking damage
  • No, That’s Not Possible… – Kill Kagerou Shogun without taking damage
  • That Woman is a Demon! – Kill Aiko Demon without taking damage
  • Forgive Me, Sensei – Kill Sanjuro Demon without taking damage
  • Clash in a Mirror – Kill Hiroki Demon without taking damage
  • Demon’s Dread – Kill Kagerou Demon without taking damage
  • Untouchable – Finish a chapter without dying and using a shrine

Stay tuned to Gameranx as guides for these achievements will be going up in the coming days! Good luck in your journey, and happy achievement hunting!
