Developer: Supermassive Games
Publisher: Bandai Namco Entertainment
Platforms: PC PS4 Xbox One PS5 XSX|S
Release: November 18, 2022
The Dark Pictures Anthology has continued to find fans jumping into each new installment. Wrapping up the first season of the series is The Devil In Me. This game follows a group of documentary filmmakers who get invited to a replica serial killer’s home, H.H. Holmes. However, upon arriving at this building, they learn a real serial killer is looking to take each member out. Gameplay is much like the past installments, where players mainly make choices that will alter the narrative. Likewise, similar to the past games, cooperative multiplayer is here. Essentially players will get delegated a series of characters they are responsible for when making choices.

Ship of Fools is Fika Productions’ debut title. This indie game is a roguelike co-op experience where players take the role of a couple of fools. You’re the only two souls brave enough to cross the sea and deal with the hazards that made the open seas its home. So board your ship and start your journey of finding new islands, treasures, resources, and of course, combating the hostile creatures that attempt to take your ship down along the way. However, it’s not as simple as sailing anywhere you’d like. There’s a massive storm brewing, and you’ll need to carefully monitor where it’s heading to avoid getting caught in it.
#38 Warhammer 40000: Shootas, Blood & Teef
Developer: Rogueside
Publisher: Rogueside, United Games Entertainment GmbH
Platforms: PC PS4 Xbox One PS5 XSX|S
Release: October 20, 2022
The Warhammer 40K franchise takes itself very seriously more times than not. However, some games within its line take a hilarious approach to the genres they play in. Warhammer 40000: Shootas, Blood & Teef is an excellent example of this.
In the game, you play a mighty Warboss, one who has had an item of great importance stolen from him! To get it back, he must go to the planet Luteus Alpha and wipe out all the enemies in his way!
The game embraces the 2D aesthetic for a side-scrolling shooter unseen in this franchise. So load up and get back what’s yours!
#37 WRC Generations
Developer: Kylotonn / KT Racing
Publisher: Nacon / Bigben Interactive
Platforms: PC PS4 Xbox One PS5 XSX|S November 03, 2022
Release: Switch December 01, 2022
They say the world of racing is slowly changing, and WRC Generations was a title that tried to embrace that change in a big way. Specifically, the game embraced how Rally Car Racing shifted to hybrid engines for their rides.
Within the game, players must balance how they use their gas engines and batteries to be efficient on the track. That won’t be easy when you’re racing down vast terrain and making turns in a split second.
You’ll go racing down over 100 tracks spanning 22 countries. So get into the driver’s seat and see if you can take on the challenge!
#36 Powerwash Simulator

Are you looking to just relax while you play your game, all the while knowing you ARE doing something in it? Then you might want to try out Powerwash Simulator. This is the latest in a long line of simulator titles, and as noted, you’ll be powerwashing…well…just about everything in sight to be honest.
You’ll start off small with some easy things to clean, and then once you’re done, you’ll get to move on to bigger and dirtier objects. The name of the game here is cleanliness, even if you have to soak up a spot for a while to get the grime off of it, that’s what you will do!
You’ll find that whether you play it alone or with a friend, the game can be quite enjoyable and relaxing.

- Platform: Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One
How many of you out there have watched one of the Gundam anime? If so, then you know that it is a vast space-faring anime that touches upon multiple things, not the least of which are epic people in epic mobile suits known as Gundams. In SD Gundam Battle Alliance, you’ll get to see that from a whole new experience, as the lore you know gets warped into…something else.
Because in the SD universe, all the Gundam stories have happened, but something is going on that is literally rewriting the lore in a warped way, and so to save history, you must team up with other Gundams to make an alliance that will save everything.
Will you be able to get things to where they need to be?
#33 Ghost Watchers
- Developer: Renderise
- Publisher: Renderise
- Release date: July 28, 2022

There are many people who claim to see ghosts, but have you actually ever watched them? That might seem like an odd question, but if you play Ghost Watchers, you’ll understand why we’re asking that. Because most people are content to just see the ghosts and say “I have proof of ghosts!”
But in Ghost Watchers, seeing them is only the start. You’ll need to setup all sorts of gadgets in homes and buildings that are haunted in order to capture not only proof of ghosts, but learn things about them. So it’s very much an investigative game as much as it is a horror title of sorts.
Plus, with future updates, more ghosts will be added!

- Release date: July 19, 2022
- Developer: INTERIOR/NIGHT
- Publisher: Xbox Game Studios
- Platforms: Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Microsoft Windows
At first, As Dusk Falls might not seem like a co-op title, and in the traditional sense it isn’t due to how it’s a narrative title first, and it doesn’t even have the traditional style of art you’d expect for a game like this.
But where the co-op does come in is the way you make choices. You can play with friends and then as a “committee” see what paths you take and the options you go for. If there’s a tie? The game will decide for you, or, you can use a special override to usurp the decision.
This means that the paths you take will very much depend on how you or others want to see things go. Leading to all sorts of possibilities in this dark story.
