Five Nights at Freddy's is an incredibly fun, simple, yet, surprisingly terrifying series of games that's managed to become really popular–and with good reason: It's excellent. The cleverness in the games' designs and the sbuttlety of their mechanics provide some of the most potent scares we've seen in horror games to date.
The first game has been praised by critics for being a unique take on the survival horror genre, with a particular emphasis on its simplistic design, along with how its gameplay mechanics and aesthetics contributed to an overall feeling of fear and paranoia.
It quickly became the top-selling game on various distribution platforms including Steam and Desura, due to a number of popular "Let's Play" videos on YouTube.
Thus far, two sequels have been released, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 in 2014, and Five Nights at Freddy's 3 in 2015. The fourth game, Five Nights at Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter is currently in development, and is expected to be released this October.
With that in mind, we've compiled 50, yes, 50 facts about the game you probably didn't know about–even if you played the games. Check them out in the video above.
