Act 2: Seattle Day 1
Chapter 8: The Gate
Trading Card #5: Motivator – At the start of the chapter, you’ll notice some cars next to a bus stop. The card is pinned to the bus stop interior.
Trading Card #6: Starfire Kids – Further ahead, you’ll reach a road leading to Seattle. On the left, there’s a trailer with this card pinned to the corkboard.
Artifact #10: Map of Seattle – In the same trailer, you’ll find the map in the back room drawer.
Journal #5: At the huge QZ gate, dismount and look at the WLF sign painted on the exterior.
Artifact #11: Refugeee Note – Look on the desk in the first military control trailer.
Artifact #12: Infected Infographic – On the desk in the second military trailer.
Trading Card #7: Chessmaster – Once you reach the upper QZ wall, follow the outer balcony to enter a tower. Climb up, and you’ll find two collectibles in the tower room.
Artifact #13: Isaac’s Orders – There’s a card on the table, and a note on the green crate in the QZ wall tower.
Artifact #14: Checkpoint Gate Codes – This collectible is required to progress. You can’t miss it — you’ll find it in the military trailer behind the front gates.
Artifact #15: Rooftop Note – Very easy to miss. Use the generator cable and throw it across the military trailer with the gate codes. Then climb onto the rooftop to find this note.
Trading Card #8: Oozer – There’s a trading card up here too.
Chapter 9: Downtown
Artifact #16: FEDRA Census – Enter the small booth outside the ‘Fuck FEDRA’ gate.
Artifact #17: Cache Hunter Note – In the large grassy area outside the opening gates, look to the right for a box-shaped ruin on the hill. There’s a satchel inside with this note.
Trading Card #9: Doctor Uckmann – In the same area, find the tall ruins of a corner building. Climb up onto the raised upper level (marked with WLF paint) to find this card.
Artifact #18: Bank Heist Plans – Enter the Westlake Bank tower ruins to reach the lobby. In the back-right behind the front desks, there’s a dark room with a note containing some plans to open the vault.
Safe #2: 60-23-06 – Inside the Westlake Bank tower, crawl into the ruins and reach the lobby. Behind the front desks, you’ll find a dark room to the right with a huge vault door. The money is worthless, but the shotgun is worth the trip.
Weapon: Pump Shotgun – Found inside the Westlake Bank tower. Enter the ruins to reach the bank lobby, and use the code 60-23-06 to unlock the vault. You’ll find the shotgun on one of the long-dead bank robbers.
Artifact #19: Antique Ring – An Uncharted Easter egg is in the Westlake Bank vault with the Pump Shotgun. Look in the safety deposit box in the back-right corner.
Artifact #20: Bank Robber Letter – Found on the table, right next to the shotgun.
Artifact #21: Letter From Isaac – On Cherry Street, there’s a wrecked tank and a set of stairs leading nowhere. Find the charred body nearby to collect this artifact.
Training Manual: Crafting – In Downtown Seattle, reach the top of the ruined bridge where the fire truck is located. Throw down the fire hose and use it to swing to the chunk of fallen concrete below with a military truck that’s otherwise unreachable. The valuable crafting manual is located in the truck.
Trading Card #10: Das Wort – Inside the Valiant Music Shop, near the ‘Dome’ temple. Find it in a counter shelf on the first floor.
Artifact #22: WLF Community Supply Chest Note – On Madison / 5th Ave, look for a tall building with stairs leading up to a landing. There’s a chest up here with a note in the satchel.
Artifact #23: Street Drawing – At the 5th Ave military checkpoint, climb up and look in the tower cabinets.
Journal #6: After picking up the street drawing, Ellie can try her hand at sketching the view.
Workbench #2: At the 5th Avenue checkpoint, the towers are connected to a grassy landing with a tent. There’s a bench in the tent.
Safe #3: 04-51 – On Madison Street, you’ll find the safe through an open military checkpoint gate. There’s a big pointer on the wall with the clue you need. There’s some items and a Trading Card collectible inside.
Trading Card #11: Flo – Found inside the locked safe.
Artifact #24: WLF Safe House Supply Note – On Spring Street, smash the corner diner window to enter the interior build. There’s a note on the counter.
Trading Card #12: Big Blue – Inside a shelf in the back-left corner of the diner on Spring Street. It’s the same building with the Pet Store Key.
Artifact #25: Pet Store Key – On Spring Street, smash the glass of the corner diner and go inside. Go through the back rooms to the bathroom to find this key — it’s required to collect the Gun Holster.
Artifact #26:
Upgrade: Long Gun Holster – Down on 6th Avenue, you’ll need the Pet Store Key artifact to unlock the interior. Go through the alley marked ‘Barkos Deliveries’ to enter the pet store. The Gun Holster is located in the front room on the desk.
Weapon: Stun Bomb – In the Barkos Pet Shop, the same one with the Long Gun Holster, find the Stun Bomb weapon on the table in the main room, in the back-right corner.
- Can also be found in the Courthouse, in the office near the FEDRA execution site.
Artifact #27: Note To Informant – On the northern section of the highway area, between 6th and 7th avenue, there’s a flooded area with a rusted truck. Pull it open to find a note.
Artifact #28: Emergency Protocols Memo – At the ‘Dome’, a Jewish Synagogue, climb up into the guard towers at the front and search the shelves.
Artifact #29: Rabbi Sauders’ Letter – In the Synagogue, you’ll need to use a rope to swing to another balcony. Explore the connected office to find this artifact.
Journal #7: Finding the letter in the Rabbi’s office will automatically unlock this journal entry.
Artifact #30: Please To A Friend – Found in the Courthouse. In the dark hallway, you’ll find several executed FEDRA soldiers. There’s a note on the ground near one.
Artifact #31: Lt. Torres’ Memorandum – In the office near the execution, examine the body with a machete embedded in it.
Artifact #32: List of Known WLF Agitators – Found in the cabinet to the left of the dead body.
Safe #4: 86-07-22 – In the FEDRA base / court house, go through the dark hallways to find an office near an execution site. The safe code is written on the white board above the dead commander with a machete inside him. The safe is in the office, behind the front desk.
Artifact #33: WLF Recruiter Journal – At the hotel, go inside the lobby and clear out the infected. Heading upstairs, enter the hotel rooms. Check the cabinets with a TV on top.
Trading Card #13: Know It All – The trading cart is in the same room as the note. Look in the nightstand between the two beds.
Chapter 10: Eastbrook Elementary
Artifact #34: Leah’s Note – Found on the dead body Ellie automatically searches at the start of the chapter.
Artifact #35: Leah’s Photo – Also found on the body in the opening cutscene. You can’t miss it.
Artifact #36: Isaac’s Mandate – From the school rooftop, enter the interior hallway and look for a table on the right with a blue tarp over it.
Trading Card #14: Cardio – Leaving the school, you’ll later jump from the rooftops into an open apartment balcony. Go inside the bedroom and look in the nightstand.
Chapter 11: Capitol Hill
Trading Card #15: Kinnard Eqq. – At the start of the chapter, go toward the houses and look for a blue home marked with ‘3’ at the door. The card is in a stand next to the sofa.
Artifact #37: Chevy’s Apology – Go inside the brown brick home next to the pool. Upstairs, a runner will ambush you from the bedroom. You’ll find the artifact on the bed.
Trading Card #16: Rockafella – Go to the motel. In one of the first floor rooms, you can jump in through a back window. The front door is locked.
Weapon: Trap Mine – After using a green dumpster to climb up to the open apartment balcony door. The weapon is in the bedroom.
Artifact #38: Raul’s Olive Branch – In a shelf in the first apartment, next to the fridge in the kitchen.
Workbench #3: Found inside the gas station, on the left as you travel deeper into the chapter.
Training Manual: Stealth – From the overgrown streets, look for a store marked ‘BOOKS’ — crawl through the window, and then enter the coffee house attached to the book store. The training manual is on the desk in the back-right.
Artifact #39: Rebecca’s Tip Off – Located in the book store opposite the gas station. The note is in the cafe, on the counter. This is the same cafe as the training manual.
Trading Card #17: Doctor Stem – Found on a table in the dark room connected to the cafe.
Trading Card #18: Seargeant Frost – Continuing down the hill, reach the rooftop with the destroyed skylight and drop down into a room full of infected. Clear the area, then check the back room for a locked containing this card.
Trading Card #19: Candelabra – After encountering your first WLF trap, check the back-right of the store nearby.
Artifact #40: Tower Doodles – In the next courtyard, climb up into the guard tower and check for the note.
Artifact #41: Raul’s Account – Slide down to the natural area below and cross the stream. Ahead, look for an open military truck under the overpass. There’s a note inside.
Artifact #42: Fran’s Refusal – In the area full of traps, enter the Martial Arts Studio and grab the note from the corkboard wall.
Workbench #4: Found in the backroom of the same martial arts studio.
Trading Card #20: Bizarrebra – In the area full of traps, go to the thrift store across from the martial arts studio. The card is on the book shelves.
Artifact #43: Thrift Store Reminder – In the same thrift store, go into the back room to find a note pinned to the wall. This is where you’ll find the safe combination clue.
Safe #5: 55-01-33 – Past the ‘MARTIAL ARTS’ building, squeeze into a thrift store and enter the back room. There’s a safe in the office, and a note with the code pinned to the corkboard. You’ll find some supplies inside.
Chapter 12: Channel 13
Trading Card #21: Kimimela – At the TV Station, after inching across the exterior windows and entering the offices, look for a desk with lots of playing cards on the corner.
Artifact #44: Dad’s Pep Talk – In the area where you’ll discover an arrow-skewered corpse, look in a corner office for a note on the sofa.
Chapter 13: The Tunnels
Artifact #45: After pulling open the subway train door, look for this note pinned to the wall on the left. You’ll need to move through several more train cars to reach it.
Trading Card #22: Crawl out from under a train car, and move toward the red glow of a room. Don’t go inside yet though — there’s a trading card hidden beneath the nearby derailed train car.
Workbench #5: Found up the latter, in a maintenance room.
Journal #8: Dropping down, you’ll encounter a room with Shamblers. Kill them and examine the body to sketch a journal entry.
Trading Card #23: Dr. Daniela Star – After Dina helps you get through the heavy gate, continue forward until you find a room marked ‘storage’. Crawl under the desk to get inside the cage and get this card.
Artifact #46: Whittled Statue – In the break room next to the storage room. The statue is on a table with a microwave next to the door.
Artifact #47: Soda Can Note – Here’s something that’s very easy to miss. In the break room, smash open the vending machine glass to get this artifact.
Artifact #48: Locker Room Note – On the table in the same room.
Trading Card #24: Bastet – At the train wreckage, you’ll be able to climb out up a red platform. Don’t climb up yet! Crawl under the train to the left and you’ll find a hidden card.
Artifact #49: Subway Station Note – Now you can climb up. In the next train car interior, you’ll find this note pinned to the door.
Chapter 14: The Theater
Trading Card #25: In the theater lobby, hop over the center desk and collect this card from the back shelves.
Artifact #50: Program For Cassandra – On the boxes to the left of the center desk.
Artifact #51: FEDRA Soldier Journal – Upstairs, find this note on the balcony with the tent.
Trading Card #26: Beyond – Go down the dead end hallway with the blocked door on the second floor.
Artifact #52: FEDRA Soldier Journal – Upstairs, enter the projector office to find this note on the table.
Artifact #53: Sick Habit Flyer – Once you gain the keys, unlock the door to the main theater. It’s on the right side of the stage, on a big container.
Chapter 15: The Birthday Gift
Journal #9: Outside the museum, examine the plaque under the T-Rex exhibit.
Trading Card #27: Nighthawk – Entering the main dinosaur exhibit, move to the back-right corner of the first floor to find this card on a bench.
Journal #10: Right in the center of the space exhibit, interact with the area between the two curved benches.
Trading Card #28: Saura – Joel will help Ellie jump into the closed-off area of the museum. In the room with the giant elk, look under the bench to the right.
Artifact #54: Suicide Note – Deeper inside the dark area of the museum, you’ll find a dead body right next to the hole you need to crawl through to continue.
