Eternal Fire [Control]
In Control, instead of gaining different weapons, you just unlock new variants of the same weapon — the Service Weapon. In it’s standard pistol form, it’s a pretty unremarkable gun that packs a pretty strong (and accurate wallop) but if you complete a hidden quest and burn strange TVs in the Maintenance Sector, you’ll unlock a powerful upgrade that refunds 1 shot every time you land a hit on an enemy.
If you’re accurate, that means you’ll have unlimited ammo! Sure, this might be an upgrade, but it’s the most awesome upgrade in an amazing game, so it’s going on our list.

Unknown NERO Weapon [Days Gone]
After beating the main story, there’s still one secret weapon you can unlock — a killer Taser that’s also an elaborate Syphon Filter Easter egg. Instead of knocking out the undead, this taser literally sets enemies on fire when you zap them. To construct it, you’ll need to complete a final secret government recipe. It’s totally worth the extra work.
